I grew up hating to read, because I have two leaning disorders (don't worry, I was clinically tested); adhd and dyslexia. Over the years I have learned to make weaknesses my strengths and was luckily accepted to be a student at BYU. I have learned to love books and I can't keep me nose out of them. I love to read now. My current fav authors (ok, they have always been my two fav, even in high school) are Fitzgerald and Grisham. I would like to recommend The Great Gatsby, This Side of Paradise, The Broker and The Summons.

I have dyslexia as well... It's interesting how it still shows itself from time to time, but one can basically overcome it.
The Great Gatsby is currently the next book on my list to read... I read it my senior year of HS, but don't think I got much out of it. Thus, my goal is to read it again. Still, my fave book = The Giver, by: Lois Lowry.
